Suddenly it's the "hip" and "in" thing to be drafting in the top of the draft for philly sports. Inb4 Hexy is peer pressured to acquire the #1 or #2.

So when are the Sixers actually going to start winning?

Just curious when there is a start to the upswing?

I don't know.

After 4 years of tanking I don't know when the process really starts. Was curious.

My gut tells me Ben Simmons, should they select him, probably will give 0 (frank)s about playing in Philly. Sixers are the Browns of the NBA.

I just want them to actually put an NBA product on the floor.

Flyers RFAs:

Schenn
Gudas
Manning
Cousins
Weal
Straka
Alt
Lamarche
Alderson
Mathers
Palushaj

I don't see a couple coming back with guys like Aube-Kubel, Sanheim, Wilcox, Fazleev.

Media and nba are hyping up Ingram to stir up controversy.

There is only one player at the top and its Simmons

yea so do i, i think ingram will be capable of coming and delivering points right away. simmons may be the better talent now, but for his career, i think ingram has it. Adding ingram to:
Okafor
Noel
Embiid
Saric

i think is a start. we obviously need to invest our money in some guards, which there will be plenty of in FA this year and next.

I am curious what happens with Durant.

I know the Warriors are interested in him but I also read that the Spurs could make a serious push for him to pair with Leonard and Aldridge.

I love the way the Spurs play. And Leonard is starting to become my favorite player the way he plays both ends and never takes a play off.

Simmons pretty much does everything better than Ingram except his shooting. He is a centerpiece. He is the guy you surround with 3 point shooting and defense. Ingram is not on that level.

Everyone I've seen who has watched more tape of Ben Simmons than most have been very low on him. Ingram is the right choice. They're already gambling with not great odds on Embiid. I'd go the safer pick route here.

Re: Laine. Would love to move up but it's going to cost too much to move up from 18. That proposed package floating around doesn't even make much sense. The Jets need forwards much more than they need D. So why would they want a deal centered largely around Sanhiem and Morin? My very best offer that might actually entice the Jets would be BSchenn, 18th overall, Konecny. And the Jets probably still balk at that. But let's face it, acquiring Laine without somehow giving up Provorov, Ghost, Simmonds or Coots is not going to be easy.

It certainly wouldn't be popular around here. At least for a while. Simmonds alone wouldn't get it done though. Probably have to include 18 or Laughton at the very least.

Ultimately though the Flyers lack anyone how can play the crease anywhere close to as well as Wayne does. Would be a big lose even with top flight talent coming back.

Simmons run in Philadelphia will make Tim Duncan's run in San Antonio look pathetic. Lead pipe, Connecticut, chimp, rip your face off lock.

I was watching Laine and puljujarvi highlights last night, but of them are so (frank)ing good. Both of them are unreal, and I'd love one of them on the flyers, but the cost would be so much. I hope they hold tight, draft at their 18th, and maybe get someone from overseas? Bellemare and raffl have worked out really well, does anyone know if they're looking to bring anyone in from europe?

My goal would not be just for the number 2. I would try a bigger package where you got number 2 and trouba.

Simmonds, Schenn, #18 and Sanheim for #2 and Trouba.

Something like that would be my plan
